The 2nd Chance Recovery Program Philosophy

A positive self-image (imperative for recovery) is enhanced by a friendly, pleasant, clean, supportive and sober environment.  Alcoholism or drug addiction often consumes everything in its path. Many people who are just beginning the process of recovery are a long way from living in uplifting surroundings. We provide an environment that anyone would be proud to call home.

Spending time with God daily in prayer and meditation is vital to help keep residents grounded and focus on their recovery journey.

Joselle Chatman, CFO-Secretary

Is a veteran who served over 10 years in United States Army and United States National Guard as a non-Commissioned officer. She has been a paralegal for 27 years who has worked in private sector, public sector, and military organizations. Mrs. Chatman has a Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies and Master of Science in Paralegal Studies both from Purdue University Global and an Executive Certificate in Public Administration from Liberty University.

Frank Chatman, CEO

Is a retired Sergeant First Class Army Combat Veteran with over 30 years of experience in Military Logistics in the United States Army. He has received special training in Anti-Terrorist Training, Battalion Intelligence Operations Officer, Action Officer Development and Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course. Served over 15 years in foreign country which included Afghanistan, Bahrain, Germany, Honduras, Iraq, Korea and Kuwait in support of the United States Military.

Ways for Responsible Re-entry into The Community

Provide monthly participation with community service organizations which help support
homeless veterans, abused women and children’s shelters.
